Since 1987, SCELP has served as the last line of defense against harmful land uses and major environmental threats in SC. Founded and headquartered in Georgetown, we operated statewide for almost 3 decades before opening an office in Greenville (2016), followed by one in Charleston (early 2020) and one in Columbia (end of 2021), helping us better fulfill our mission, using our legal expertise to protect land, water and communities across South Carolina.
